I got this tattoo last Wednesday. This picture was taken a couple of minutes after completion, hence the redness.

My boyfriend and I are currently in the process of moving in together!! I’m so happy and excited. But combining two apartments is tough work. Especially for a pack rat like me. I can’t wait until we are all settled, though. House warming party to be announced!

new tattoo

this is a very very rough sketch of my new tattoo. The actual tree is going to be dark brown and the leaves will be red. I'm going to get it on the inside of my arm. I'm very excited. I'll post the photo of the real thing as soon as I get it, in about two weeks.

Staring off into space...

Summers at my job are sooooo slow. Every single excuse in the world runs through my head in the mornings, reasons to call in. But I am a supervisor, so it is important that I'm here. I'm going on vacation at the end of the month for two weeks. I don't have much planned in the way of travel, but I'm very excited to finally have time to myself.

Also, today is just really hard because I'm completely exhausted. My boyfriend and I decided at the last second to drive up to St. Augustine (about a 90 minute drive) last night to see Elvis Perkins. It was a great show, but we didn't end up making it home until around 2:00am and I had to be into work at 8 this morning. So I'm not in the best of moods. And on top of that, I have to work on Sunday. I usually have weekends off. Sigh...

At least it's Friday.
